Paddy Power Betfair PLC and its subsidiaries are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking. We expect the same commitment from all of our employees, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners.
Our code of conduct encourages employees and contractors to identify and report any suspicions of modern slavery taking place in our business or supply chain. This code was updated during 2016 to better promote awareness of ethical business practice amongst employees.
We have a whistleblowing policy in place to ensure that our employees and contractors can voice any concerns about modern slavery without fear of repercussion. We also try to ensure that our contracts with suppliers require them to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In addition to this our procurement policy requires staff to take the social and ethical responsibility of each supplier into consideration when assessing their suitability.
We continually review our business and supply chain to identify areas which may be at risk of contravening the Modern Slavery Act and take the necessary steps to mitigate any risks identified.
